How a pair of jeans can be worn in 3 different ways

Alixandra Caole Vila - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Revive, revamp, relive the old jeans with new concepts! The world’s oldest and largest denim brand made a new twist in the old 501 favorite with the customized and tailored 501 CT (customized and tapered) jeans.

Established in 1853, the family-owned blue jeans pioneer has been a symbol of democratic, rebel-infused Americana.  It has been a favorite fashion staple of everyone —  from cowboys to rockers and celebrities like Bruce Springsteen, James Dean, Janet Jackson and Madonna.

With the fast evolution fashion, the brand has decided to give the classic 501 a modern fit to keep up with the millennials' style preferences. Aside from hemming, tailoring the 501 jeans has been one of the most requested alteration. For that reason, the brand created the 501 CT.  While keeping up with Levi’s tried-and-true silhouette, the revamped version is cut slightly straighter at the waist, smaller in the seat, and offers a more tapered fit compared with the original 501.

Besides better stitching, finer threads and stronger button, the jeans are literally “fit for anything.” The 501 CT jeans can be worn in three ways.

Down-sized
Wear in 1 to 2 sizes smaller for a slim, modern fit.

True-to-size
Wear your actual size for a classic, regular fit.

Up-sized
Wear it 1 to 2 sizes larger for a more relaxed fit.

Launched in the Philippines on Feb. 11, the new Levi’s 501 CT jeans made denim history at Valkyrie, The Palace, in Bonifacio Global City. See photos of the event below:
