Tiffany & Co. hosts cocktails for Tina Jacinto
MANILA, Philippines — Tiffany & Co. with its GM Mario Katigbak recently hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate the birthday of Tina Hidalgo Jacinto at the Tiffany boutique in Greenbelt. Tina is the author of her huge coffeetable book entitled: “Having a Ball: A Decade of Parties, People, Fashion & Art in the Philippines”, which featured her 10 years as resident society columnist of The Manila Bulletin.
The iconic book cover featured 10 prominent ladies headed by society luminaries Nedy Tantoco, Josie Natori and Consul Mellie Ablaza, photographed by Tina’s husband, international portrait photographer Rupert Jacinto.
Mario, together with Stephanie Chong, welcomed the guests. The Tiffany evening overflowed with Moet & Chandon, as the chic crowd nibbled on the prime ribs and canapes. They viewed the collections which took center stage, with Tiffany’s most iconic styles, Tiffany paper flowers, Tiffany T designs and HardWear, Elsa Peretti diamonds by the yard earrings, the Tiffany jewel box and necklaces with meticulously crafted Tiffany keys: the crown key pendant, petal inspired key, fleur de lis key and Victoria key.
Founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1886, the Tiffany setting was unveiled in a design of his engagement diamond ring which embodied expert craftsmanship, timeless designs and ethical sourcing and provenance information. Tiffany is the enduring beauty of design.
