209th National Day of the Argentine Republic and Malbec World Day@ Makati Shangri-La

MANILA, Philippines — Last April 10, the Argentine Embassy in the Philippines celebrated its National Day together with the Malbec World Day at the Makati Shangri-La, Manila. The event was very well-attended by hotel owners, food and beverage heads, restaurant owners, chefs, wine aficionados and connoisseurs, diplomatic and consular corps, government officials and members of the media.

Columbia Ambassador Víctor Echeverri, Apostolic Nuncio Most Rev. Gabriele Giordano Caccia, Argentine Ambassador Jose Nestor Ureta, Brazil Ambassador Rodrigo do Amaral Souza and, United Mexican States Ambassador Gerardo Lozano Arredondo.

Eleven of the most important wine importers in the Philippines displayed their Argentine products in a special wine tasting, complemented with carving stations to sample Argentina’s world-renowned beef. Also that evening, there was a showcase of Argentine videos about the country and tango show.
