MANILA, Philippines — Last June 2, the Italian Embassy held their arts and culture fair in Quezon City. Italian Ambassador Guglielmino mentioned his fondness for the city and added his favorite destination places there such as the Cubao Expo and the Bellini Restaurant. The city was also chosen to host the fair as it is near  Ateneo University and the Ateneo Art Gallery, long-time partners of the embassy.

This year, the Italian embassy wanted to highlight evolving trends in their country. When asked to define what makes “Italy,” most people would say more well-known elements of the European nation such as Michelangelo, pizza, or pasta.

Israel Ambassador Rafael Harpaz, Indian Ambassador Jaideep Mazumdar and Egypt Ambassador Ahmed Ezzat.

But Ambassador Guglielmino says that Italy is far more than that. The country is ever adapting and is paving the way fpr various innovations in art, design and food industries. He sees the evolution of his country as something Filipinos would be curious and interested about.

Romania Ambassador Mihail Bujor Sion, Norway Ambassador Bjorn Jahnsen, Hungary Ambassador Jozsef Bencze and Russia Ambassador Igor Anatolyevich Khovaev.
