Newlyweds Enrique and Eula Campos

MANILA, Philippines — U.S.-based physicians, Enrique (Ikey) Padilla Campos and Eula Plana Tetangco, tied the knot in the only way they could imagine: with a traditional Filipino celebration in Manila surrounded by their dearest family and friends. Parents of the bride – Amando Tetangco and Elvira Plana Tetangco – and of the groom – Drs. Enrique Campos and Susana Padilla Campos – watched with pride as their children who fatefully met in Chicago during their residency training, were wed at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish on January 6, 2019.

The reception, held at Shangri-La at the Fort, was a joyful affair. Friends and family enjoyed an elegant evening highlighted by an outstanding canape spread provided by Chef Ariel Manuel of Bistro Manuel and a dinner menu specifically chosen by the groom. There was no shortage of entertainment, with outstanding performances by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, heartfelt serenades from Ikey’s brother Nicanor Campos, and a full choreography set performed by Ikey’s second brother, Tommy Campos, accompanied by Sofia and Julia Padilla.
