2018 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos conferment

MANILA, Philippines — On the occasion of Metrobank’s 56th anniversary celebration, Metrobank chairman Arthur Ty (7th from right), Metrobank Foundation (MBFI) trustee and Federal Land chairman Alfred Ty (leftmost), and MBFI president Aniceto Sobrepeña (rightmost) led the conferment of the 2018 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos in an awarding ceremony on September 7, at the Metrobank Plaza Auditorium in Makati City. Distinguished officials from government, business, civil society, academe and diplomatic community graced the event. Sen. Juan Edgardo ‘Sonny’ Angara, who chaired the final board of judges, served as guest of honor and speaker. The 2018 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos awardees received a cash prize of P1 million each, a gold medallion and a trophy.
