MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines and Super Junior go way back. K-Pop in the Philippines wouldn’t be as enormous as it is now if it weren’t for a superb show that started it all. In 2010, PULP Live World mounted the record-breaking Super Show 2 in Manila, and the rest is history. PULP and Super Junior ushered in the unstoppable hallyu wave, with the group performing in the Philippines a few more times after that. Last June 30, we came full circle when the legendary Korean boy group made their way to the Mall of Asia Arena for Super Show 7.
