Switzerland – make your dream come true

MANILA, Philippines — Last May 31, a VIP reception was organized by Switzerland Tourism and the Swiss Embassy at the residence of Swiss Ambassador Andrea Reichlin to celebrate the 67-per cent growth of Filipino tourism to Switzerland in the last three years. This growth would not have been possible without the partners present at the event, whom Switzerland Tourism deputy CEO Urs Eberhard thanked for their continued interest in Switzerland as an outstanding tourism destination.

“Switzerland is a dream destination for many Filipino travelers. Since Switzerland Tourism started with a ‘fact finding’ mission in late 2014 and intensified its activities in the Philippines thereafter, the market grew from 23,081 annual overnights to 38,772 overnights. This represents an increase of not less than 67 per cent,” said Urs Eberhard.

Switzerland is the ultimate holiday and travel destination in the heart of the Alps.
