Gallery News: Manalo, Montemayor and Palomo at Pinto Art Museum
Neil Manalo, Ferdinand Montemayor and Anthony Palomo hold simultaneous solo shows — “Koordinasyon,” “Game” and “Reprise,” respectively — which open on July 13 at Pinto Art Museum, 1 Sierra Madre St., Grand Heights, Antipolo City, Rizal.
In “Koordinasyon,” Manalo celebrates the Filipino’s resilience in the face of the improbable.
In “Game,” Montemayor depicts the action of competitive sports.
In “Reprise,” Palomo presents more of his meanderings and painterly improvisations.

Ross Capili at ArtPrints Alley
Ross Capili showcases paintings on glass in “Seeing Through My Soul: New Paintings on Glass,” which opens on Wednesday at ArtPrints Alley, Suite 324, LRI Design Plaza, Nicanor Garcia St., Bel Air II, Makati City. The show runs until July 31.

Rafael Pacheco opens museum and gallery
The Museum and Gallery of the Rafael Pacheco Artworld & Uugong Eco-Park is now open.
Located at the scenic limestone hills of Uugong in Morong, Rizal, the museum and gallery showcases the artworks of folk artist Rafael “Ka Paeng” Pacheco done in his signature style — finger-painting. It also houses the permanent exhibit of many of Pacheco’s early and later works, as well as other memorabilia.

‘Tinuod/Truth’ at Renaissance Gallery
Bag-ong Hinan-aw artists Publio “Boy” Briones Jr.; Buboy Cañete, Audie Estrellado, Ramon De Dios, Carlos Florida, Jonathan Galicano, Luther Galicano, Bernardo Hermoso, Facundo “Dodong” Tallo, and Jose “Pepe” Villadolid hold “Tinuod/Truth,” which is on view until tomorrow at Renaissance Art Gallery, The Art Center, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.
The show also features guest works of Martino Abellana, Sym and Romulo Galicano.
