‘Stopover’ at Liongoren Gallery

BoyAgimat, Buen Calubayan, Jason Dy, SJ; Manny Garibay, Rene Javellana, SJ; Jason Moss, Leobensant Marquez, Jose Tence Ruiz, Jaime Pacena II, Alma Quinto, Iggy Rodriguez, Benilda Santos, Angelo Suarez, and Wesley Valenzuela mount “Stopover” on view until April 25 at Liongoren Gallery, 111 New York and Stanford Sts., Cubao, Quezon City.

The exhibit, which was shown on Oct. 28 to 30, 2008 at the Ateneo de Manila University as part of the Asian Christian Art Conference on “Art, Theology and Imagination,” launches the preparations for “KritKat” (Kritikal Katoliko) slated on Lent of 2010.

‘Pause: Modern, Young Artists Grapple with the Times’ at Paseo Gallery

University of the Philippines (UP) Fine Arts students Dodge Carpio, Isaac Sion, Tanya Umali, Joe Tanierla, PJ Jalandoni, Ana Mata, Joseph Morong, Maridan Pedro, Ralph Barrientos, Jocel Yabes, Irene Baltazar, Dawani de Leon, Jazz Gabriel, Cara Gonzalez, and Paulo Pascual stage “Pause: Modern, Young Artists Grapple with the Times” at Paseo Gallery, fourth level, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.

The show is divided into three exhibitions: “Rewind” (April 14 to 27), “Forward” (April 28 to May 11), and “Play” (May 12 to 25).
