Ambeth Ocampo delivers lecture and launches new book at Ateneo
For his contributions to research and popularization of Philippine history, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) conferred on National Historical Institute chairman and Ateneo professor Ambeth R. Ocampo the degree of doctor in public administration honoris causa during its mid-year commencement exercises.
On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the outbreak of the Philippine-American War and the Ateneo de Manila Social Sciences Week, Dr. Ocampo will deliver a lecture on “America’s Forgotten War” on Feb. 4, 3 to 4:30 p.m., at the Leong Hall Auditorium, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, QC.
Before the lecture Dr. Ocampo will launch his new book titled 101 Stories on the Philippine Revolution. The event is open to the public.
