Celebrating Filipino-Russian relations
Russian Ambassador Igor Khovaev recently led the Day of Russia reception at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La, Manila in Makati City.
The event commemorated the developing partnership between the Philippines and the Russian Federation. Present at the event were distinguished members of the diplomatic corps as well as Cabinet members, local government officials and other VIPs.
“The Russian-Philippine relations are gaining momentum,” Khovaev said. “Recent developments show tangible achievements we can be proud of. The future holds promise for more productive and mutually beneficial engagements between our two countries.”

An evening among buddies

A fashionable group of ladies lovingly called the “Best Buddies” recently held a lovely dinner at Inagiku, Makati Shangri-La, Manila, as a Father’s Day treat for your columnist and a belated birthday celebration for Jayelles’ Tara Litton.
The lifelong friends enjoyed a sumptuous spread of Japanese cuisine and stimulating conversations.
