Belo Medical Group CEO and founder Dr. Vicki Belo recently attended a special afternoon tea party hosted by Audrey Puckett, the owner of the Hong Kong-based clothing line When I Was 5.

Held at luxury restaurant Sevva in Central, Hong Kong, the affair was bustling with the most avid, affluent and sought-after beauty enthusiasts who were all eager to meet the stunning beauty doctor.

The next day, Vicki was invited to give a talk at one of Hong Kong’s top-rated wellness centers, Sense of Touch, located in Repulse Bay. Organized by Sense of Touch owner Anna Treier, the event was an opportunity for Vicki to talk to Hong Kong’s most dedicated skin care and beauty aficionados about Manila being an ideal place for medical tourism as Belo clinics have machines from all over the world that can address any and all beauty issues — making it a one-stop shop for beauty.

Congratulations, dear Vicki, for a very fruitful trip!

Vibrant & vivacious Valerie

Mark Dy recently hosted a surprise birthday dinner in honor of his sister, Valerie Dy, at Chef Jessie in Rockwell, Makati City.

A doting brother, Mark made sure that the event was elegant and intimate — exactly the kind of party Val would enjoy. Guests celebrated the always charitable and generous entrepreneur, a lady who is blessed with beauty, brains and breeding.

Many happy returns, dear Valerie!

The Catholic Women’s Club of the Philippines (CWC), a 100-year-old dynamic organization of civic-minded women whose noble cause is to assist the disadvantaged sectors of society, will hold its annual high tea on June 26 at the Main Lounge of the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

In keeping with this worthwhile tradition, officers and committee chairpersons will pour tea for the members and guests, in a gesture of solidarity in their efforts to uplift the lives of beneficiaries that include indigent children, victims of abuse and disaster survivors.

Guests are encouraged to don Polynesian-inspired outfits because the event’s theme is “Afternoon Mahalo Party.”

Kudos to the Catholic Women’s Club of the Philippines for always giving back to the community!
