Artists from near and far meet in ‘Turandot’
Singers and creatives for Turandot will converge from Italy, Korea and the Philippines for the staging of the opera at the CCP in early December.
They are Lilla Lee as Princess Turandot; Alessandro Liberatore as Calaf; Jin Su Lee as Timor; Vincenzo Crisostomi Travaglini, director; Prince Sisowath Ravivaddathana Monipong, assistant director; Maestro Valentino Favoino, conductor; and Giovanni Pirandello, lighting designer.
From the Philippines are Rachelle Gerodias as Liu; Byeong In-Park as Ping; Ivan Nery as Pong; Nomer Nuval as the Emperor and Greg de Leon as Mandarino.
The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Alice Reyes Dance Company and the Camille Lopez Choir Group are in this stellar production.
