Another petition questioning the constitutionality of the P125-million confidential funds received by the Office of Vice President (OVP) Sara Duterte in 2022 will be filed at the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday.

Not surprising at all, Vice President Sara Duterte early this week assailed the agreement between the government and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines to return to peace negotiations.

True to form, Vice President Sara Duterte did not mince words in voicing her strong opposition to the resumption of peace talks between the Philippine government and the CPP-NPA-NDFP. A peace accord with the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) is a pact with the devil, she cautioned the Marcos administration. 

The government has adjusted the national budget by nearly P270 billion, with the majority directed toward unprogrammed appropriations, resulting in a record-setting total of P5.54 trillion for the current year.

Vice President Sara Duterte should look at herself in the mirror to determine who is the devil, according to peasant group Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas .
