MANILA, Philippines — Jollibee Foods Corp., a listed Asian food conglomerate, is extending its 10-percent discount offer for dine-in transactions of vaccinated individuals until Nov. 30 this year.

The initiative forms part of the Ingat Angat’s Smart Bakuna Benefits program, wherein over 150 restaurants in the National Capital Region and neighboring provinces or NCR Plus offer discounts to all inoculated people in support of vaccination efforts, it said in an announcement.

Participating stores include Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Panda Express and PHO24. Red Ribbon offers the same discount for take-out transactions.

Vaccinated customers only need to show their vaccine card and government-issued ID to enjoy the incentive for as many times as they want when they dine in until November 2021. Single-dose vaccinees are also eligible to enjoy the discount.

“We are glad to extend the discount promo so more customers will enjoy the benefits of vaccination apart from protecting their health. We hope that through this collective effort of the restaurant industry, more Filipinos will be encouraged to get inoculated so we can help the country achieve population protection at the soonest time possible,” said Pepot Miñana, Jollibee Group chief sustainability and public affairs officer.
