Chinese nationals na nasa likod ng ilegal na COVID-19 clinic, ideport!

MANILA, Philippines — Hinihiling ni Senator Risa Hontiveros ang pamahalaan na i-“deport and blacklist” ang mga Chinese national na may kaugnayan sa pagbubukas ng ilegal na coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) clinic sa Makati.

Ani, Hontiveros, isang “blatant disregard of our laws” ang pagbubukas ng underground clinic at “should merit immediate deportation and blacklisting.”

“Deport and blacklist these criminals. Hindi puwedeng ang higpit natin sa mga Pilipino pero maluwag tayo sa mga Chinese na sangkot sa krimen,” saad niya.

“While we are wor­king hard to protect our people from the virus, these criminals freely roam and pose danger to public health… Insulto ito sa ating mga batas, at insulto rin sa bawat Pilipinong sumusunod sa ating quarantine measures,” giit pa ng senador.

Sinabi rin ni Hontiveros na dapat papanagutin para sa paglabag sa Food and Drug Administration Law, Medical Act of 1959 at Hospital Licensure Act ang mga Chinese operator ng mga underground na ospital.

Inutusan na ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra ang National Bureau of Investigation at Bureau of Immigration na hanapin ang mga underground clinic sa bansa.
