2 civil service exams next year give more opportunities
MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will conduct two civil service career examinations in 2020 to give those planning to work in government two opportunities to take and pass the required examination.
The nationwide Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), both for professional and sub-professional levels, will be held on March 15 and Aug. 9 next year.
The CSC announced that the application period for the first examination will be until Jan. 15, 2020 in all regions in Luzon and the Visayas.
For Mindanao, specifically Regions IX to XII, Caraga and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), the application period began on Dec. 9, 2019 and will run until Jan. 10, 2020.
Those interested to take the second batch of the CSE-PPT on Aug. 9, 2020 may already begin preparing their application requirements, which may be submitted from May 11 to June 10 next year.
The CSC said applicants are advised to submit their applications at the CSC Regional Office (CSC RO) with jurisdiction over the testing center where they wish to take the test, or at any of the CSC RO’s field offices.
