Palace declares special local non-working days
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared 11 special non-working days in various parts of the country.
Proclamations declaring June 21 as a non-working day in Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur (50th charter anniversary); Balete, Batangas (founding anniversary); Rosario, Agusan del Sur (Yagi-Yagi festival); Bayugan, Agusan del Sur (12th charter anniversary); Maasim, Sarangani (founding anniversary) and Laurel, Batangas (founding anniversary) were signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea by the authority of President Duterte on June 14.
Medialdea also signed proclamations declaring June 24 as a special non-working day in Masbate (Bagat Dagat Festival) and June 29 as a holiday in Koronadal City (Tree Growing festival). July 1, meanwhile, was declared a special non-working day in San Carlos, Negros Occidental (charter anniversary).
Earlier this month, Malacañang issued proclamations declaring June 20 as a special non-working day in Lipa City, Batangas (72nd founding anniversary) and Dagupan City, Pangasinan (72nd charter anniversary).
