Facebook launches trivia game show in Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Social media company Facebook yesterday launched a live trivia game show in the Philippines through its video platform Facebook Watch.
The interactive gameshow, called Confetti, will air weekdays at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Baninay Bautista.
It offers prizes as much as $6,000 to participants who would be asked to answer pop culture trivia questions.
“Facebook Watch focuses on video that ignites conversation and community,” the company said in a statement. “Through Confetti, trivia fans can play on their own or play with friends and family in a live trivia challenge. Confetti allows players to see what their friends’ answers are during gameplay.”
Accessible through the Facebook app, Watch offers a wide range of shows that may be personalized by users.
Confetti is produced by Fremantle, with international versions available on Facebook Watch in the United Kingdom, Thailand, India, Vietnam and the Philippines.
