MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Manila Development Authority on Tuesday announced that the number coding scheme would be lifted on October 31, Wednesday and November 2, Friday and November 5, Monday.

The traffic authority said the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program would be suspended in all cities and in the only municipality in Metro Manila to ease traffic in anticipation of the crowds expected to observe the All Saints' and Souls' holidays.

Due to this, MMDA General Manager Danilo Lim advised motorists to plan their trips ahead.

The Malacañang earlier declared November 1 and 2 regular and special non-working holidays, respectively.
