Journalism students team up for community journalism

MANILA, Philippines — The University of Sto. Tomas Journalism Society, together with University of the East  Journalism Society, Polytechnic University of the Philippines Journalism Guild, Bulacan State University Journalism Society, Lyceum of the Philippines University Journalism, and Colegio de San Juan de Letran Scribe Journalism Society, team up to launch “Talamitam: Community Empowerment through Journalism Education,” which will tackle the essence of community journalism and its importance to society. The event is slated on Feb. 21, 2018.
