Carpenter hurt as vintage bomb explodes

MANILA, Philippines — A carpenter was injured when a vintage bomb exploded in Parañaque City over the weekend.
Randy Manalo, 30, was rushed to the Sta. Rita Hospital for treatment.
Police said Manalo was holding the bomb he found at a construction site along G.G. Cruz street in Barangay Baclaran when it went off at around 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Probers said the explosive was a 1936 model landmine.
