Palace welcomes 4 envoys

MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte yesterday welcomed to Malacañang four ambassador in a bid to foster good relations between the Philippines and their respective countries.
Ambassadors Michel Goffin of Belgium, Gerardo Lozano Arredondo of Mexico, Giorgio Gualielmino of Italy and Daniel Robert Pruce of the United Kingdom presented their credentials to the President.
Duterte also awarded the Gawad Mabini rank of Dakilang Kasugo (commander) to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Vice Consul Theodore Andrei Bauzan and Director Ryan Francis Gener.
The Gawad Mabini rank of Kamagong (Grand Cross) was conferred on Undersecretary Enrique Manalo, Ambassador Elizabeth Buensuceno, Consul General Adelia Angelito Cruz and Ambassador Maria de Leon Jr.
