LIVE: Duterte leads PMA Class of 2017 commencement exercises

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte is set to lead the commencement exercises of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 2017 on Sunday.

The “Salaknib” (Sanggalang ay Lakas at Buhay Para sa Kalayaan Ng Inang Bayan) Class of 2017 will hold the graduation ceremonies at Fort General Gregorio H. Del Pilar, Baguio City.

This is the first time Duterte is attending and leading the commencement exercises as the president of the Philippines and commander-in-chief of the armed forces.

Vice President Leni Robredo, Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana, National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon, and Communications Secretary Martin Andanar are also at the ceremony.
