The LPA the state weather bureau is monitoring has entered PAR, PAGASA says.

It is expected to develop into a tropical depression in the next 48 hours and will be assigned the name "Falcon."

The two low pressure areas near Luzon that PAGASA was monitoring already dissolved on Wednesday, the state weather bureau says.

But the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela in Cagayan Valley; Calabarzon; Central Luzon; Mimaropa; and Bicol will experience cloudy skies with scattered light to moderate rains today due to the frontal system where warm and cold air masses interact. In Metro Manila and northern Luzon, fair weather is expected.

The LPA outside of the Philippine area of responsibility, meanwhile, is also seen to dissolve as it nears Mindanao.

It was located at 990 km east of Mindanao as of 3 a.m. Thursday. It is expected to enter PAR today but is not seen to develop into a tropical cyclone.

The number of low pressure areas PAGASA is monitoring rises to three after spotting the third one located east of Appari, Cagayan early Wednesday.

The third LPA was located at 335 km east of Appari at 3 a.m. today.

Meanwhile, the LPA north of Luzon is now located at 195 km southwest of Sinait City, Ilocos Sur.

The LPA down south, on the other hand, was spotted at 1,120 km east of Mindanao. It is the only LPA outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

These three weather disturbances have a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone. They are expected to bring rains over Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon.

Another LPA outside PAR was located at 1,265 km east of Mindanao at 3 a.m. today. It is expected to enter PAR later today or tomorrow morning. It is also not expected to strengthen into a tropical cyclone.
