The Manila International Airport Authority announces that some flights headed to and from Naga have been suspended due to unfavorable weather.

It says that flights of carrier Cebgo have been affected as of 1:50 a.m.

These are the canceled domestic flights on Tuesday:

  • DG 6113 - Manila to Naga
  • DG 6114 -Naga to Manila
  • DG 6117 - Manila to Naga
  • DG 6118 - Naga to Manila

Transport officials and airline executives to sign a “pledge of commitment” to support the decongestion of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, develop Sangley Airport in Cavite and improve passenger convenience, Philstar.com's Ian Cigaral reports.

The Department of Transportation says the signing of the pledge of commitment was in response to President Duterte’s call to improve the country’s gateways.

Carriers that signed the pledge are Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Asia.

The Manila International Airport Authority announced the list of flights called off on its social media account. The grounded flights are headed to and from Busuanga, Palawan.

Cebu Pacific cancels two flights headed to and from Guam on Tuesday due to the weather disturbance caused by Typhoon Mangkhut.

Typhoon Mangkhut (with assigned Philippine name: Ompong once it enters the country) is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday, September 12. The budget carrier advised that this may disrupt some of its flights in the next few days.

The Manila International Airport Authority announces that some local and international flights affected by Tropical Depression Josie have been canceled.

MIAA says domestic flights of CebGo and Skyjet headed to and from Batanes were canceled.

On the other hand, due to the strong Typhoon "Ampil" in Shanghai, China, China Eastern check-in rescheduled one of its flights.

The Manila International Airport Authority says CebGo canceled some of its flights headed to and from Tablas, Romblon due to the bad weather caused by Tropical Depression Henry.

The following flights are affected:

  • DG 6075 - Manila to Tablas

    DG 6076 - Tablas to Manila

The MIAA advised the affected passengers to call Cebu Pacific for flight re-booking and assistance.

The Manila International Airport Authority announces that a number of flights headed to and from Busuanga, Palawan were canceled on  Tuesday, June 26, due to the bad weather.

Affected flights are as follows:
