Restrictions on the unvaccinated
January 14, 2022

Transportation Secretary Ochie Tuazon says the "no vaxx, no ride: policy is to protect public transportation riders, drivers and operators. He adds this is to avert a shutdown of public transportation systems due to a lack of personnel.

Tuazon says those exempted from the policy are:

  • People who cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons (Need to present med certificate)
  • People who need to access essential goods and services, including COVID-19 vaccinations (Need to present proof)
