The first-ever Digital Financial Inclusion Awards (DFIA) will recognize the achievements of the country’s outstanding microfinance institutions (MFIs) and microentrepreneurs who have successfully implemented digital solutions in their operations. A salute to small entrepreneurs in the digital space!

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin E. Diokno and Citi Philippines chief executive officer Aftab Ahmed and Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI) chairperson Eduardo C. Jimenez led the launch of the first DFIA, which aims to strengthen financial inclusion through digitalization of the microfinance sector in the Philippines. Also present at the launch was CARD MRI founder and chairman emeritus Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip. The DFIA program is a financial inclusion initiative funded by Citi Foundation, in partnership with MCPI and supported by Citi Philippines and the BSP.

Take note, dahlings, that under the first component, four MFIs with the successful implementation of digital solutions, as well as 20 microentrepreneurs with notable achievements in their business through digital solutions will be recognized. Wow!

Imagine, the MFI winners will get the chance to continuously improve their digital financial services program with cash incentives worth P100,000 each, palanggas, while microenterprise winners will also receive P100,000 each for their additional capital and laptops.

There will be a training workshop on digitalization for 30 MFIs under the second component. Five selected MFIs also will be provided with technical assistance on digitalization plus a chance to implement their pilot initiatives in their selected branches

Cheers to our palanggas in MCPI, BSP and Citi Foundation for the successful launch!

Dreamy Skippy Cookie Javakula.

I personally love the Skippy Hot Choco, dahlings. It’s made with the luscious combination of dark chocolate sauce, rich milk, and Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter. For coffee enthusiasts looking for a different take on their favorite drink, there’s Skippy Iced Choco Java crafted with a shot of espresso, white chocolate mix and smooth Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter. Then there’s the Dreamy Skippy Cookie Javakula, a cool ice-blended beverage with rich flavors: a shot of espresso, dark chocolate sauce, Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, and garnished with whipped cream and peanut cookies.

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely hooked!
