MANILA, Philippines — What do Jeff Goldblum and Justin Theroux have in common (well, aside from playing cool and unnerving characters in classic pieces of cinema by David Cronenberg and David Lynch, respectively)? The two gentlemen showed their predilection for Tiffany’s Men pieces: Theroux donned a watch from the new Tiffany 1837 Makers collection, as well as an 18k gold Tiffany 1837 Makers chain, while Goldblum (who performed with a jazz band during the Tiffany Men’s launch in Los Angeles) complemented his Tiffany 1837 Makers pieces with a Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger brooch. Goldblum and Theroux look dapper with their Tiffany’s — from breakfast or brunch and beyond.

Tiffany & Co. recently unveiled Tiffany Men’s, the brand’s newest dedicated men’s collection, at the Hollywood Athletic Club in LA.

Tiffany Men’s — featuring jewelry, home and accessories, watches, barware and games — was created with the discerning taste and confident style that define the modern Tiffany man. Other guests during the launch included A$AP Ferg, Lili Reinhart, Rowan Blanchard, Debby Ryan, Miles Chamley-Watson, Christian Combs, Miles Richie, James Turlington, Lucky Blue Smith, Kemio, Yosuke Kubozuka and Vic Mensa, among others. Atlanta De Cadenet Taylor and boyfriend Dave Macklovitch of Chromeo spun for the crowd.

Reflecting Tiffany & Co.’s heritage as the purveyor of American luxury goods, the Tiffany 1837 Makers and Diamond Point collections are direct, uncomplicated and rooted in a legacy of expert craftsmanship. Tiffany Men’s was created in the spirit of the modern man: bold and confident, casual yet refined, a style arbiter with a discerning eye for quality.

“Tiffany Men’s is centered on craftsmanship as the foundation of our company,” said Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer, Tiffany & Co. “Tiffany 1837 Makers is a nod to the workmanship and time-honored techniques used in creating jewelry — the idea that there’s a person behind each object.”

Embodying Tiffany’s craftsmanship heritage, the Tiffany 1837 Makers collection was inspired by the jeweler’s hollowware workshop and its tradition of handcrafting sports trophies. Designers experimented with concave and convex forms, flat edges and motifs evocative of utilitarian hardware when creating jewelry, barware and more. Stamped with symbols like “T & CO MAKERS,” “NY” and “AG925,” Tiffany 1837 Makers honors Tiffany’s silversmithing legacy and the fact that the luxury house set the US standard for sterling silver (925 per 1,000 parts silver). The made-to-order Tiffany 1837 Makers trophy ring honors Tiffany’s 160-history of making sports trophies by hand and makes a bold statement and adds edge to any outfit.

Whereas Tiffany 1837 Makers is artisanal and utilitarian, Diamond Point represents the elevated, classic end of the style spectrum with a strong, graphic pattern. This motif appears as a subtle accent or a prominent overlay on jewelry and home pieces and accessories such as the Diamond Point rectangle pendant in sterling silver, cuff in sterling silver and cocktail mixer in lead crystal and sterling silver. Most of the Diamond Point jewelry designs are die-struck and hand-polished to achieve the distinctive textured motif.

“Diamond Point takes a more modern and graphic approach, utilizing a pattern inspired by a diamond’s culet that ties back to our diamond authority.”

One of the most impressive items in Tiffany Men’s is the one-of-a-kind, handcrafted solid sterling silver and 24k gold vermeil chess set. The range of designs in Tiffany Men’s represents a new chapter for the design house, signaling the brand’s expansion in the men’s luxury space. Inspired by the design ingenuity that has defined Tiffany & Co. for over 180 years, the new collections for men embody the hand of the artisan and the spirit of innovation.

During the launch, guests enjoyed a variety of classic games with a Tiffany Blue twist, such as a Tiffany basketball arcade machine, special-order Tiffany Blue billiards table and a Tiffany Blue foosball table. Guests were also keen on exploring the various Tiffany & Co. handcrafted trophies created for many of the top sporting leagues.

If fashion were a sporting event, then the Tiffany Man would be shooting step-back treys or hitting homers with a sense of laidback luxury.

The Tiffany & Co store is located in Rustan’s Makati, Rustan’s Shangri-La EDSA, and Greenbelt 4, Ayala Malls.
