WATCH: Stylist reveals Catriona Gray’s homecoming outfits
MANILA, Philippines — In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com, Patrick Henry, stylist to the stars, including Piolo Pascual, Aiko Melendez, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, revealed what Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be wearing in her homecoming events this week.
Henry, who has been a celebrity stylist for over three years now, helped put together the looks Gray wore from Binibining Pilipinas to Miss Universe. He also styled reigning Miss Intercontinental Karen Gallman from the Philippines.
According to Henry, who accompanied Catriona and her entourage to the pageant in Bangkok, the beauty queen has always been contributing ideas into what she would wear.
For the homecoming events, he bared that Gray would don not only designs by her Binibini and Miss Universe designer, Mak Tumang, but by other designers as well.
But in all her outfits, her utmost wish, said Henry, is to always incorporate indigenous Filipino textiles, accentuated with jewelry and accessories from local designers.
On Saturday, the country’s fourth Miss Universe titleholder will be paraded inside Araneta Center. On Sunday, she will be feted by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Maymay Entrata, Bamboo, KZ Tandigan, Morissette Amon, Jed Madela, TNT Boys, ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra and Vice Ganda in a show dubbed “Raise Your Flag for Catriona Gray” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
