From a wide range of authentic Moroccan home items, fashion pieces and beauty products to delectable Moroccan cuisine, get set to discover the heart and soul of Morocco with the country’s premier shopping destination — Rustan’s — naturellement.

During the colorful opening night, invitees and patrons were transported to the street markets of Morocco with an astonishing display of authentic Moroccan merchandise, plus festive sounds by the Moroccan musicians and artisans doing henna hand tattoo and traditional Arabic calligraphy.

Musicians playing exotic Moroccan music

A ceremonial toast was made between Khalid Fathi of the Moroccan National Tourism Office in China, Consul General of Morocco Rico Tantoco, Monia Zaoui and husband Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Mohammed Rida El Fassi, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Rustan Commercial Corp. chairman emeritus Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. and Rustan Commercial Corp.’s hardworking chairman and CEO Zenaida “Nedy” Tantoco, together with partners HSBC Philippines and Raffles & Fairmont Hotel.

The dignitaries offered a toast (Moroccan mint tea) to mark the opening of the festival. Après, the guests continued to celebrate and explored the fifth floor to discover further what Rustan’s Moroccan Festival had to offer with many of them buying gorgeous items, dahlings.
