Sun protection is the best defense against premature skin aging

I am religious in caring for my face and follow a good skin care regimen. It was only recently that I noticed that the skin on my body does not look “as young.” My skin tone is not even and abused areas like hands and feet look a bit wrinkly. Please help me.

I love Maybelline’s The Falsies! I think it is my favorite so far. It really opens up the eyes and, true to its name, exaggerates them beautifully. Go buy the tube in multiples!
Between black and nude, if the nude pumps you chanced upon are in patent leather, don’t let them go. You can always find nice black pumps, but nude pumps don’t come by too often. They make the legs look gorgeous and endless!
Boot cut is always the more forgiving and flattering cut. Re the length of pants, unless they are skinny pants, then I am afraid there is no single length that will work for both killer heels and flats. That is why if you find a fit you absolutely love, buy two of it, one to wear with heels and the other for flats or sandals.

Not just a housewife
Dear Ms. Tinting,
I’m a housewife for 45 years. I’ve been careful never to say I’m just a housewife, but it seems many say “just” a housewife. How do I counter this “justs”?

I dislike the word “just.” It demeans a woman’s, mom’s, wife’s efforts and sacrifices. Hold your head high when you say housewife and if a stare answers you, return back the stare. Be proud of being a homemaker. It makes you as a mom prepare young citizens to be ideal leaders in the future. As a wife, you keep your husband from straying, starving, and looking unkempt. And that goes for the children, too.
