MANILA, Philippines — Global girl group Katseye will no longer be performing at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields, an all-women music festival, after one member, Megan Skiendel, sprained her ankle.

The pop act gave an update on its Weverse channel that Megan sustained her injury during rehearsals for the group's upcoming "Wild" tour.

Doctors evaluated the situation and advised the singer to stay off her ankle for it to properly and Katseye can be ready once the tour begins in a few days' time, just two days after Daisy Chain Fields happening on August 29 in California.

"We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there," said Katseye. "We were especially excited for Daisy Chain Fields because it's not just about music, but the greater mission of joy and community."

The girl group sent its love to Olivia, the other artists in the line-up, and the participating non-profit organizations and volunteers, "It's going to be such an amazing day, and we can't wait to see everyone out on tour."
