'Eraserheads reunion': Internet users storm Ely Buendia to fulfill tweet after Leni Robredo's announcement

MANILA, Philippines — Internet users are now asking Ely Buendia to fulfill his promise for an Eraserheads reunion after Vice President Leni Robredo announced her presidential candidacy today.

Social media users took to Twitter to express their happiness with Robredo’s announcement of her presidential bid. Moreover, they wanted Ely to fulfill his promise last September. 

It can be recalled that during a Q&A session on his Twitter account, Ely was asked if there is still possibility that the popular '90s band that included him, Buddy Zabala, Raimund Marasigan and Marcus Adoro will reunite in a concert. 

“Pag tumakbo si Leni,” Ely answered.
