K-pop group TWICE to stage Manila concert in June

MANILA, Philippines — South Korean girl group TWICE is set to perform in Manila for the first time in June, putting an end to the long wait of Filipino ONCEs.
The nine-member act announced on its social media accounts Sunday it will hold a concert in the country on June 29. Other details such as ticketing and venue have yet to be released.
The 2019 world tour will kick off in Seoul, South Korea on May 25 and 26. The nonet will also stage shows in Bangkok, Singapore, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark and Chicago.

The girl group also announced the name of its upcoming mini album on Sunday. The seventh EP, titled “Fancy You,” will be released on April 22.

TWICE, which debuted in 2015, is composed of members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
Dubbed as “Nation’s Girl Group” in South Korea, the nonet is known for its charming hits such as “Cheer Up,” “TT,” “Likey,” “Dance the Night Away” and “What Is Love?”
