'Hindi po ako boy crazy': Andrea Brillantes says she can live without men
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Andrea Brillantes shared that she can live without men.
In her interview with Karen Davila, Andrea said that she has been single for two years now after her last relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero.
“Almost two years po akong walang boyfriend after him (Ricci) and one year po akong single na talagang wala akong kinakausap at all," she said.“Wala akong tinitingnan din at all hindi po ako boy crazy I can live without them!” she added.
Andrea said that she learned a lot from her previous relationship.
“I think 23 is still very young pero I believe na marami akong natutunan, ayokong i-claim na mas wiser na ako now but I have learned a lot sa previous relationship ko and I’m still trying to learn about love kung paano mag-mahal at makakita ng tamang tao,” she said.
Karen recalled in her first interview four years ago that Andrea was clingy in the relationship because it had to do with her childhood, while she wanted a stable and secure relationship.
“Yes, but definitely mas secure na po ako now but again nirerespeto ko rin ‘yung needs ko dahil grabe nga ‘yung childhood na pinagdaanan ko pero now alam ko na kung ano ang hanap ko na 'yung tao kung kaya ako," she said.
“Hindi tulad dati na masyado akong clingy at needy kasi baka walang magmamahal sa akin and binago ko po ‘yung mindset na ‘yun na mahahanap ako na I’m just enough for them at hindi ko kailangang baguhin (sarili).
“But of course may kailangan akong ibago like mga traumas ko hindi ko na dapat bitbitin pero kailangan ko ring maghanap ng partner na kaya rin (tanggapin) ‘yun,” Andrea said. —Video from Karen Davila YouTube channel
