MANILA, Philippines — Talent manager Ogie Diaz felt sad for Enchong Dee after the cybercrime case filed by Dumper Partylist Representative Claudine Diana Bautista-Lim pushed through.

Ogie was among the respondents in the case together with fellow celebrities Enchong, Agot Isidro and Pokwang and three other social media users but all of their cases were dismissed except that of Enchong.

Siyempre sad ako for Enchong.

When asked if he already talked to Enchong and the party-list congresswoman, Ogie said not yet.

Ogie said that he will take the experience as a lesson for the future.

"Oo naman, lesson learned 'yan for all of us, na kahit alam mo sa sarili mo na 'di naman libelous, e, mayroon pa rin palang masasaktan du'n sa opinyon mo," he said.

Bautista-Lim filed a P1-billion cyber libel case against Enchong at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Davao Occidental last November.

The case was because the actor issued allegedly “malicious” and “defamatory” statements against the party-list representative after photos of her wedding with businessman Jose French Lim last February 2021 circulated online.
