Winwyn Marquez reacts to clamor for her to join Miss Universe Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez revealed that she has no plans on trying to be the country’s bet to the prestigious Miss Universe pageant.
In her Instagram account, Winwyn posted a throwback video of her walking the runway in the Miss Reina Hispanoamericana pageant.
“People have been tagging me non stop sa video na to' so might as well post it on my feed. Oh how time flies. Thank you sa nag video,” she wrote.
An Instagram user asked her in the comments section if she has plans to join Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
"Pang miss u pwede pa ba?” the Instagram user asked Winwyn.
"No na," Winwyn replied.
Winwyn is the first Asian to win the Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the country's first try in the international pageant in 2017.
