Kris Aquino fires back at Cristy Fermin over scrapped online show
MANILA, Philippines — “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino fired back at veteran columnist Cristy Fermin after the latter accused her of "power tripping."
Kris, Cristy, Lolit Solis and Mr. Fu were supposed to do an online program for a grocery store. Kris, however, refused to work with Mr. Fu, according to Cristy.
"Ang sabi ni Kris Aquino, kami lang daw ni Manay Lolit ang gusto niyang makasama. Hindi niya raw kilala si Mr. Fu at hindi namin ka-level si Mr. Fu," Cristy said on her radio show "Cristy Ferminute."

Cristy then vowed to never work with Kris again.
"Sabi nga ni Manay Lolit, kahit bigyan mo kami ng tig-isang ng Puregold ay hindi namin gagawin ang proyekto kung ikaw ang kasama. Ako mismo, kahit ano pa ang gawin mo, kahit na ano pa ang gawin ni Chuck Gomez na panliligaw sa akin, kay Manay at kay Mr. Fu, hindi bale na lang," she said.
"Magdidildil ako ng asin, Kris Aquino, ‘wag ka lang makasama."
Dindo Balares, Kris and Cristy’s mutual friend, posted about the issue on his Instagram account, saying he’s a peacemaker and wants to bridge the gap between the two. Kris replied on the post saying "there are battles worth fighting for."
"Nagsalita ba ‘ko laban sa nanay mo? Binastos ko ba ang pagkatao niya? Sa daming beses na pinagsalitaan niya ako ng lahat ng pinakamasasakit na below the belt na panlalait mula ulo hanggang talampakan—ni minsan ba, pumatol ako?" Kris said.
"There are battles worth fighting and there are stories worth correcting, sa dami ng problema ng mga tao at sa mga responsibilidad ko sa buhay, hindi ito ang uunahin kong asikasuhin," she added.
Kris said she'd rather help the Bicol region recover from Typhoon 'Rolly'.
"Mas makatao at may katuturan kung tumulong ako sa mga Bicolano dahil sila ang talagang mabigat ang dinadala... Marunong pa ring manindigan pag sigurado na katotohanan ang pinanghahawakan, hindi lang nga nararamdaman na kailangan pang pagsigawan,” she said.
"I do not have to attend to every fight I'm invited to. I cannot control what people will say about me or do to me. BUT I can control my reaction and subsequent actions," she added.
