Rookie card ni Giannis, nabenta ng $1.812 milyon
MANILA, Philippines — Kahit sa labas ng court ay may bagong record si Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo matapos mabenta ang kanyang pirmadong rookie card sa halagang $1.812 milyon para maging pinakamahal na basketball card sa kasaysayan.
Nabili ito sa Goldin Auctions website kung saan 31 bidders ang nagpataasan ng presyo.
Ang rookie card ni LeBron James ng Los Angeles Lakers ay binili ng $1.8 milyon nitong Hulyo lamang.
Ang nasabing rookie card ni Antetokounmpo ay may gradong Beckett Mint 9 mula sa isang 2013-14 National Treasures set. Makikita sa card ang NBA logo patch at pirma ni Antetokounmpo.
“Encapsulated and graded MINT 9 by BGS, with signature graded ‘10’ by Beckett,” ang pag-lalarawan sa rookie card. “This collectible’s glorious obverse design is centered around a stunning and full-color, game-action image of the ‘Greek Wonder.’ A coveted cloth ‘Logoman’ NBA-symbol patch, taken from an event-worn Antetokounmpo jersey, dominates. To the right is the athlete’s full and rich, blue ink signature. Finally, gracing the area beneath the star’s image, is the ‘One of One’.
