MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado took a swipe at Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque when he was caught allegedly napping during the State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Duterte last Monday.

In her Twitter account, Jennylyn posted the the screenshot photo of the spokesman seemingly napping.

“Goodnight bessies. Sana maging kasing himbing ng tulog ni Sec Roque ang tulog ninyo. Sweet dreams everyone,” Jennylyn wrote.

The actress, however, said that she was only joking.

"Joke lang Sec! Fun fun fun lang hehe," she said in another tweet.

The Kapuso actress had been vocal in supporting the rival network ABS-CBN, whose franchise renewal bid was junked by Congress last July 10.

Prior to this, Jennylyn criticized Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa's statement on the 11,000 ABS-CBN employees who lost their jobs due to the network's franchise denial by Congress.

Dela Rosa earlier said that the Kapamilya employees need just to look for another job to support their families.

"Sabi nga nila 'To lead by example.' Baka naman gusto niyo pong mauna?" Jennylyn wrote.
