MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin shared her thoughts on the community quarantine imposed on Metro Manila due to novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a lengthy Instagram post today, Angel gave her sympathy to ordinary Filipinos who are really affected by the community quarantine.

Angel called on the government to support ordinary Filipinos so that they don't have to risk being infected just to eat and pay their bills.

She hoped that the “Philhealth will shoulder treatment for those who have CoVid19.”

The versatile actress also thanked the officials who are leading the fight against the virus, saying that health workers are the real “idol.”

Kaya natin ‘to,” she ended her post.
