Maja Salvador recently graced Guitar Apparel’s Fashion Show 2020 held at Robinsons Place Manila’s Midtown Atrium. Maja, who just renewed her contract with Guitar Apparel as its first female endorser, joined other artists representing the brand such as Gloc 9, Carlos Agassi and Jake Cuenca. It was when Maja was launched in 2019 that also marked the birth of Guitar’s first-ever denim series collection.

It also has a collection of Guitar Underwear, known and labeled as a premium brand of underwear since the ‘60s. As the market is continuously evolving, the brand is evolving as well. It has already expanded its product line from basic underwear to innerwear and sleepwear, to socks, polo shirts and then to jeans.

“Being classic,” said Maja of what she and Guitar have something in common. “Kahit ang tagal na pareho sa industriya nandyan pa rin. Patibay lang nang patibay.”

Meanwhile, when she was asked about her plans on Valentine’s Day, she replied in jest, “Mag-iibigan pa lalo,” referring to her non-showbiz boyfriend Rambo Nuñez who was her former flame.

“Ang date namin ay sa kasal ng best friend niya,” she said, quickly adding with a smile, “Hindi ko wedding ‘yun. ‘Pag totoong wedding (ko) man ‘yun, kung sakali man, invited kayong lahat.”

Is Maja ready to say “yes” if ever Rambo bends on his knees and pops the big question, “Will you marry me?”

“I’m saving that moment for myself,” she replied. “Hindi ko kasi pwedeng… that kind of question is so precious so if I’ll give you my answer parang mawawala na yung moment na yun kung sakaling magustuhang itanong yun ni Ram.”
