'Hindi ito drama': Angel Locsin appeals for thousands of workers amid ABS-CBN franchise issue
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya star Angel Locsin has appealed to bashers to "think before you click" and slammed those who support the hashtag #YestoABSCBNShutdown.
In a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, the "General's Daughter" actress said: "Isang pakiusap. 'Think before you click'.
Angel is referring to the reported 11,000 employees who might be displaced should ABS-CBN fails to renew its franchise, which is set to expire on March 30.
The actress, who moved to ABS-CBN from GMA, also shared her life as a "Kapamilya."
She also denied allegations that she did not renew her contract with the network because it is closing.
"I may have not renewed my contract with ABS since I’m preparing for my wedding, but these men will always be my family and I will stand by them. We have families that rely on us kagaya nyo rin po. Konting pag-unawa lang po. Isang pakiusap."
Angel concluded her post with #NoToABSCBNShutDown.
