ABS-CBN bares new projects of KathNiel, LizQuen & more

ABS-CBN brings a variety of new entertainment treats for Filipinos in time for the Yuletide season as it unveiled its new shows — from Kapamilya love team-starrers to international dramas and reality shows — at the Family is Forever trade event.

Popular love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will star in a series to be shot in Mexico this 2020, while another leading love tandem, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, will return via their new soap Make It With You set in Croatia.

Advertisers also had a sneak peek at the series produced by ABS-CBN for US film and TV outfit Electric Entertainment Almost Paradise starring American actor Christian Kane.

Reality-talent shows will soon make waves, too, as ABS-CBN launches its pioneering 2-in-1 competition Your Moment this month with Billy Crawford, Nadine Lustre and Boy Abunda sitting as judges. Apl.de.ap also beefs up the judging panel of The Voice Teens, which returns for another season, as he reunites with coaches Lea Salonga, Bamboo and Sarah Geronimo to find the country’s newest singing champion.

TV dramas are also set to warm the hearts with Xian Lim and Kim Chiu’s on screen reunion in Love Thy Woman and Bea Alonzo and Richard Gutierrez’s fist team up on TV in the upcoming series Kahit Minsan Lang. Gerald Anderson will portray the life of a brave soldier with Carlo Aquino, Jerome Ponce, Nash Aguas, Elmo Magalona, Yves Flores and Vin Abrenica in A Soldier’s Heart.

ABS-CBN streaming platform iWant, meanwhile, will release new, exciting and fresh digital series and movies, including Bagman 2 starring Arjo Atayde and Carlo Aquino; Barbara Reimagined led by JC de Vera, Xia Vigor and Nathalie Hart; The Tapes with Sam Milby; Silly Red Shoes starring Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz; Wild Little Love led by Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes; and My Single Lady with Jodi Sta. Maria, Zanjoe Marudo and Ian Veneracion.

Kapamilya stars are set to bring world-class performances abroad with the series of live events to be held in different parts of the globe via ASAP Natin ‘To, It’s Showtime and One Music PH.

Meanwhile, the trade event instantly turned into a disco party with Gary Valenciano’s fiery performance, inviting the advertisers to groove on the dance floor. The musical treat continued as Pilita Corrales, Dulce, Sheryn Regis and Elha Nympha served powerful vocals.
