MANILA, Philippines — The cast of upcoming iWant comedy series “Call Me Tita” recently gave their opinion on the recent viral word “ghosting.”

In millennial lingo, ghosting is reportedly “the practice of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly and without explanation withdrawing from all communication.”

In the press conference of the upcoming iWant series, Mylene Dizon, Agot Isidro, Lorna Tolentino, Cherry Pie Picache, Joanna Ampil and Angelica Panganiban gave their views on the viral word.

“Kabastusan I think. It's not proper. It's not something we should be doing to anybody, our friends, our enemies, kasama sa trabaho, sa pamilya. Let's be proper about things. If we want something want to say, let's do it properly. If we want to be absent to somebody’s life, let's exit properly. May mga paraan naman eh, may mga protocol 'yan, may rules. Balikan lang natin yung rule book,” Mylene said.

Agot echoed Mylene’s sentiments with “same,” while Cherry Pie said: “Ayon na 'yon. Respect for another being.”

Joanna, meanwhile, she just learned the word recently and she agreed with Mylene and Cherry Pie’s opinion.

“I recently learned this word just a few weeks ago. Same with Mylene, I just agree and also with Pie said. If respect is lacking, siyempre ayaw naman natin ng gano'n. Dun mo malalaman kung may manners 'yung ka-circle mo,” Joanna said.

Angelica, friend of Bea Alonzo who recently experienced “ghosting” from ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson, which made the word trending, refused to give her opinion about the word.

"Call Me Tita" will premiere on August 18 in iWant.
