Kathryn Bernardo doesn't want Daniel Padilla as leading man for Julia Barretto
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo does not see Julia Barretto as a suitable leading lady for on- and off-screen partner Daniel Padilla.
In last week’s episode of “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Kathryn told Abunda, the show's host, why she feels Daniel and Julia do not look good together.
“Feeling ko too young. Parang masyado nang bata for DJ, kasi ngayon, medyo pa-lolo na siya eh,” Kathryn said.
Kathryn was in the show to promote her first movie with Kapuso star Alden Richards, "Hello, Love, Goodbye," to be showing in cinemas starting Wednesday (July 31).
During the movie's recent press conference, Kathryn shared what really happened behind the viral video showing Daniel surprising her in Hong Kong.

Kathryn also narrated how she coped without having a mobile phone and a means to communicate with Daniel for about a month, when the movie's director, Cathy Garcia-Molina, confiscated her phone to make her feel the pain needed to more effectively portray her character in the film.
