They’ve met; will they match?

It couldn’t be the so-called seven-year-itch that triggered the break-up of Derek Ramsay and the model Joanne Villablanca because their relationship lasted for only six years and a half. The model was Derek’s fourth known  girlfriend (after Solenn Heussaff, Angelica Panganiban, Cristine Reyes and then some, not counting the woman he married who bore him a child so it’s not correct for some people to say that he’s not “the marrying kind”).

Now that he’s starring with Andrea Torres in The Better Woman (a “prophetic” title, don’t you think?), the sexy-romance series (directed by Mark Sicat dela Cruz) that premieres tonight on the GMA Telebabad after Sahaya, the former Kapamilya-Kapatid actor has set tongues wagging — is she the reason for the split-up (since the news about it broke simultaneously with the announcement of Derek and Andrea’s team-up)?  

Derek’s “ex” was not talking although in a post on social media mentioned the word “cheating” even as Derek insisted that there’s no third party involved, while saying he’s sorry.

Shown in the teaser of The Better Woman are Derek and Andrea’s love scenes (one shows them on top of each other) which are oh-so-realistic that they make you wonder…are they faking it or being real?

Derek is fancy-free and so is Andrea.

The possibilities are titillating. Stay tuned.

Derek: Confidence and acceptance. When someone is fully confident with who he/she is, I find that very sexy.

Andrea: Sexy to me is confidence.

Derek: In the morning. Pansinin ninyo, when you wake up in the morning, your body looks best, di ba? And throughout the hard work during the day, it’s slowly bumabagsak.

Andrea: When I’m wearing nice lingerie.

Derek: I’d say eyes. I get most compliments for my eyes.

Andrea: My heart.

Derek: The neck. I get a kick out of seeing a girl’s neck.

Derek: It would have to be taking my partner to her dream destination.

Andrea: Ryan Gosling.

Derek: 1. Alyssa Milano, my childhood crush; 2. Britney Spears, my super crush in college; and 3. The last one would be my mom.

Andrea: Ryan Gosling, Zac Efron and Brad Pitt. They are my type, lalaking-lalaki ‘yung face and good actors. It’s big deal for me. I admire actors who are serious with their work.
