MANILA, Philippines — Fans all over the world had mixed reactions over the ending of HBO fantasy drama series “Game of Thrones.” They took to social media to post memes about the series' finale on Monday.

Some were contented with how it ended, while others were not. So to these fans, Drogon should burn the script of the series’ Season 8.

By the time of the finale, a petition called "Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 with competent writers" had passed over a million signatures.

A Twitter user posted a meme wherein Drogon looked proud for burning the Iron Throne after Daenerys Targaryen got killed by Jon Snow.

“If mama can't sit on the throne...  No one will sit on it,” the fan wrote.

Another user posted a video showing a cheering crowd after Jon finally gets reunited with Ghost. The post was captioned: “The only part that mattered.”

A Twitter user posted a drawing of a horse that started brilliant but ended as trash.

“How GoT started and how it ended,” the fan wrote.

Meanwhile, another Twitter user posted a video showing the characters of the series playing Trip To Jerusalem and suggested that “They Should have decided in this Way for the throne.”

A fan alleged that a water bottle was seen in a scene: “LMAOOO I CAN'T BREATHE THEY DID IT AGAIN. First Starbucks now a water bottle this show is a joke.”

A fan commended how Daenerys was seen in one of the scenes with Drogon’s wings juxtaposed against her back.

“Amazing Shot ever,” the fan said.

Dany’s fans may be sad with her character’s passing, but a fan suggested redemption: “Dany will reunite with her loved ones. That's the only thing that matters now.”

Another fan commended Peter Dinklage for his performance when he found out that his on-screen brother and sister were dead.

“The best character in #GameofThrones Surely Another Emmy!! Thanks PeterDinklage for bringing Tyrion Lannister,” the fan wrote.

With Jon returning to Castle Black to be reunited with the Night’s Watch, a Twitter user pointed out that Jon opted to become one of the “shields of the realm” like Aemon Targaryen.

“Jon Snow’s ultimate storyline parallels Aemon Targaryen in a somewhat befitting fashion. Both had better claims to the throne but wound up being shields of the realm,” the user wrote.

Now that the series has come to an end, a user posted photos of what fans like him might look like after finishing the series.

“Me after watching final episode of #GameOfThronesFinale,” the fan wrote.
